A twelve (12) months project (2022-2023) in partnership with the KGL Foundation. The “I Choose” project seeks to empower young people, especially teen mothers to access youth – friendly Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH)/SGBV information and services, increase their knowledge and awareness of HIV/AIDS and further build their capacity and empower them economically with livelihood skills. At the end of the project implementation, it is expected that young people would have improved knowledge and empowered to make inform decision regarding their access to youth-friendly SRH information, Services and acquired income-earning skills.
The project seeks to
- Provide 1000 adolescent and young people (10-24) years access to youth friendly Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH), including HIVAIDS services by December 2023
- Provide 1000 adolescent and young people (10-24) years Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) education and information, including HIV/AIDS by December 2023
- Provide 60 adolescent girls and teen mothers with skills training through livelihood development sessions by December 2023
